Initially I probably chose this because of the brandname which is respected and I wanted the best for my babies. It turned out to be a good choice.
... ...nice, and very irritating . Johnsons sun lotion doesn't do this. It has a really good consistency, not too thick, easy to apply and absorbs quickly and easily.
Effectiveness:
We've spent many hours in pretty hot sun, and this lotion hasn't let us down yet.It may seem a high sun protection factor but at least you can relax in the knowledge that you are doing the best to protect your little darling's skin.
My husband is Greek, so we visit Greece often and spend lots of time in the sun when we are there. This is great, but as both my little boys are fair it means we have to be really careful that they don't burn. And that's where Johnsons suncream comes in. Info about this product:
Perfume: This product smells so yummy that you'll want to use it yourself. It has a fruity, fresh, non-sickly perfume which kids love too.
Consistency:
Some suncreams with a high SPF are very thick and don't absorb well. The result is that your child ends up looking like a ghost and you end up with a thick white residue on your hands. Not nice, and very irritating . Johnsons sun lotion doesn't do this. It has a really good consistency, not too thick, easy to apply and absorbs quickly and easily.

The Science Bit: Johnsons say that this Suncare lotion combines sun protection with moisturisation to prevent sunburn and skin damage. It has a protective UVA/UVB 'Shield' and is especially formulated with mild, gentle ingredients and enriched Vitamin E . It's also dermatologically tested so a good bet for those with sensitive skin.
Cost: This sun lotion is on the expensive side at £10.99 for 200 ml, but a large bottle like this lasted us through the summer and in my opinion the ease of use and effectiveness makes it worth the extra money.
