Advantages: none Disadvantages: sticky, doesn't hold a curl, useless
...My hair is mostly straight, but with a bit of a natural wave. I normally straighten it, however occasionally I curl it -either with tongs, or by doing that twirly thing with my GHD's! As my hair is very thick and a bit frizzy, it doesn't tend to hold a curl for very long and also the curls can look a bit messy, due to the frizz. I wanted a product that would hopefully calm the frizz and hold the curl. To be honest, the only reason I chose L'Oreal Hot CurlSpray, was because it was the only product I could find that I thought would be suitable.
~About the product~
L'Oreal Studio Line Hot Curl, markets itself as a spray which is specially developed for use with curling tongs and hairdryers with a diffuser. It promises 'long lasting bounce and definition for satin smooth hair' and also contains ingredients to protect the hair from...

Advantages: Holds that curl Disadvantages: Its good but not outstanding
...I work in a salon that regularly uses GHD products. We often use creation spray when putting movement into the hair. I went to a GHD show and the stylists there loved the stuff. It helps create and hold a curl. Just spray on dry hair before curling and the curl will be stronger and will last longer. A better quality of curl all around I say! It apparently contains Panthenol (pro-vitamin B5), which doesn't mean much to me but GHD says this plumps and moisturises the hair, as well as reducing split ends and helps hair absorb conditioning moisture.
Creation spray has UVA protection; always a plus!
Overall I have rated this product as good. A 4/5. It's good for creating curls, not particularly for naturally curly hair. You can't feel it on your hair after it has been styled. No stickiness or anything like that. Its lightweight but...

Advantages: It does work Disadvantages: Too chemical
....
This product is liquid like water, with the same consistency and colour… I mean… transparency, if you tend to shake it it bubbles but then eventually they do go down.
The smell is pleasant (I would not spray it under my armpits though), very chemical but what you need is a curlactivator not a deodorant so you don't really mind it considering the smell goes in a few minutes after you spray it on.
HOW TO USE
**********
I had basically two ways of using this product:
First option would be to spray it all over towel dried hair (after your normal shampoo) comb through and dry with a normal hairdrier. This product is activated with the heat therefore this last step is necessary, you don't need to make sure it is completely dry, my hairdresser always used to say that curly hair needs to be left "just a bit damp" so that it finishes...
