The first thing I noticed about the scent is how very different it is from anything else out there. This is a sensual and evocative scent that is not overpowering but is noticeable. Two sprays should suffice: it lasts for about 6 to 8 hours on me, but for some people it should last longer.

But hey, that's enough about Southend!

I don't detect the frozen vodka but the other accords mentioned, particularly the coriander, grapefruit and later on the musk are there and mix well to create a scent that is lush, both cool and warm (not a contradiction), slightly heady and exotic. The other notes are rosemary, thyme, tonka bean and heliotrope. I have no idea what heliotrope is supposed to smell like, so I can't tell you how detectable it is! This one definitely works for me, but I recommend this as a try before you buy.

As long as you don't over spray this can be used for all occasions, not just an evening scent. Yes, it is a romantic scent, but that can work in the office too. It's not a conservative scent though; it is a little daring, but it's certainly not offensive: it leaves a wonderful soft, scenty trail. And I have received a few smiles whilst wearing this, so there you go. Personally, although this is being marketed as a summer scent - and I understand why - this can work all year round, because of it's warm and cool contrasts. Also very few people wear this, so if you want to stand out for the right reasons, give it a try.

Difficult to get hold of in the shops; I bought mine on-line. Reasonable price if you shop around. If you can't get hold of Summer Temptation, just get Jump, as Summer Temptation is just an updated variation on the theme. Hope you enjoyed my first review!
