Pushed to the Limit is the new auto-biography by Jordan / Katie Price. Having read her previous ones I really was hoping that this book was better than the last and I am pleased to say that it was.

THE BOOK
The book consists of 18 chapters with the first starting on Christmas Eve with this being Juniors first Christmas. Katie goes on to talk about how bad and depressed she felt after having given birth to Junior and how she was diagnosed with postnatal depression. As the book moves on she talks very openly about how her depression was ruining her life as everything was getting on top of her. We learn about how it affected her relationship with Peter and her other son Harvey. She reaches a very low point and takes drugs which she says she is totally against using and she tells about the difficulties her marriage suffered as Peter is so against drug taking and at one point the said he was leaving. As you will be able to gather they are still together and did overcome this problem. Finally she was prescribed mild anti-depressants and they helped her to overcome the depression.
We are told about how worried she was when she became pregnant for the third time as she was still on the anti-depressants and was worried what effect they would have on her daughter. Thought out the pregnancy she was having to deal with the worry of her postnatal depression returning after the birth but luckily this was not the case and she was thrilled with the birth of her daughter.
The book also tells about how hard she worked to make a success of all her ventures and I did learn a lot from this and how she is being portrayed wrongly in the press over her boozy nights out and the constant talk of her marriage being on the rocks. She does say that this is certainly not the case and yes Peter does not like her going out and getting drunk so she has stopped doing this and she admits she still has nights out with her friends but not as many as before. She is now more than happy to be at home with her husband and her children.
There is lots to read about Harvey again in this book and she talks very openly about when he had his accidents and how she felt with Social Services having to be involved. She also talks in great depth about when Harvey was admitted to hospital due to his drastic weight gain and how hard it was trying to be there for him and continue with her work commitments and still try to hide the fact that she was pregnant.
As I learnt from her previous books she always dreamt of becoming a singer and in this book she talks about her excitement of recording an album with Peter for charity but she was shocked at how long the process of making one is and she even talks about making another one.
There is a chapter where she talks about Peter's terrible illness and how worried she was of loosing him and how it was made harder on her as they were filming for their TV series at the time. Peter made a full recovery but the recovery period was long and they did have some very big fights during this as Peter's whole attitude changed and he became very hard to live with.
MY OPINION
I did enjoy this book and think she has redeemed herself as I was not impressed with her last offering.
There is a lot of information about her to be read about and she talks very openly and honestly about all what has happened to her and how it affected her marriage. I still think that she has no right to moan about the papers reporting on her nights out and making stories up as her career relies on the media and she certainly would not have achieved what she has without them.
I has quite saddened when she was talked about Harvey's recovery from his burn accident and how she struggled to stay strong for him when she had to watch him in so much pain. It was also very interesting to read about what the doctors thought his weight gain was down to and how they were proved wrong!
The book has been written in a very easy to follow way with the occasional swear word but I was not offended by these at all as that is the way she is and talks. There are some photographs included in the book and it is nice that some of the ones included do show Katie without her makeup and posh clothes on and show her looking 'normal'. There are also some nice photos of her children.
I found that when she talked about just how ill Peter had been I was shocked as I did not realise how serious it had been as I am never sure whether to believe the papers or not. The road to recovery was long and hard for them but I am pleased that they got through this as they do make a great couple.
I am going to recommend this book to all Jordan fans or anyone who is nosey like me and enjoy reading about people, especially loud and very outspoken people such as Katie Price is.

Advantages: great honest Disadvantages: 3rd installment
I was never a fan of Katie Price AKA Jordan, but i started to watch her tv show and i have decided that she is actually quite genuine, it is the press that makes her look bad. So i thought i would give her book a go to she her version of events.
In the latest installment in the life of Katie Price she is married to Peter Andre and has 3 wonderful children, she has battled post-natal depression and endured a traumatic miscarriage.Every page is filled ... ...as she faces everything that is thrown at her.
I enjoyed this book, Katie is a lady that gets her priorities right, she is an excellent mother and i can see why pete loves her so much, she also does an awful lot for charity.
Although I do think that 3 biographies are a little excessive I have enjoyed reading all of them as i read the first two after as i enjoyed this one so much, she is a remarkable lady who has so much going on in her life her ...

Pushed to the limit is Jordans third installment of her autobiography. I have always been a big fan of Jordan and couldnt wait to buy her 1st autobiography. Once i began reading it i just couldnt put it down! It was so honest and frank - a real difference from other autobiographies i have read. So, after reading the 1st i had to buy the second, and third. Although not as gripping as the 1st autobiography this is still a super read and well worth ... ...from the birth of junior (where the last installment ended). It covers her postnatal depression, harveys accidents and also the birth of her latest child Princess. There is also a lot a gossip and information inbetween too. I really enjoyed reading this book although my one critisism is that the pictures dont seem to match up with what she says in each section. This is however the only thing that would make this book better. I cannot wait to read ...
