After a wonderful third position in the Constructor's Championship last year big things were expected of the very popular Northamptonshire-based Jordan team in 2000. However, the signs are that Jordon are looking less competitive now than they were last season when,eg,brilliant team strategy saw Heinz-Harold Frentzen make the most of a wet race to claim victory in the French grand prix ahead of Mika Hakkinen and Rubens Barrichello. The driver pairing at Jordan currently is a strong one with the immensely talented Frentzen and the up and coming Jarno Trulli. No doubt the team do miss the vast experience of Damon Hill.In the current season there have been a series of technical failures which have brought on retirements. They too have not had the best of luck.!
