wii sports pack- waste of time, money and effort

Advantages: golf club may help on Tiger Woods- (completely different game)
Disadvantages: adds nothing to gaming experiance, its just come pieces of plastic

The Wii sports pack is not only a waste of money, but it is completely pointless. For around £15 you can but 3 pieces of plastic that apparantly make your gaming experiance more realistic, but when it comes down to it, your still only holding the Wii remote. It probably seemed like a good idea at the time, but the sports pack is about as useful as hot pants on Christmas day. Fair enough, i can understand having a tennis racket and a golf club (which doesnt make a difference on wii sports as all shots are measured on power and not angle or direction of swing) but there aren't even any driving games on Wii sports, so to advertise it as a Wii 'sports pack' seems a fundamental flaw. Also, the majority of driving games available on the Wii come with steering wheels. This makes only one of the three pieces of plastic have any point ...

Review of Joytech Wii Sports Pack

The Wii sports pack draws you even further into the world of Wii

Advantages: Extra feel to your gaming experience.
Disadvantages: Asking your girlfriend where she has put the Wii sports pack this time!

Having played the sports games without the Wii sports pack I can totally recommed this as a must for the game player who wants that extra feel to the game. Once you have attached the pack amd played one of the games you will be hard pushed not then use them everytime you play. On your own or with your friends, this pack adds so much to the fun of the Wii. Wheather you are improving your swing on the golf course, or need that extra realism to enhance your back hand, the Wii sports pack brings another angle into game play, instead of just having the rectangle shape of a Wii remote in your hand. Once you have used the Wii steering wheel, you will store it next to the Wii console for immediate and easy use. ...

Review of Joytech Wii Sports Pack

More Interaction But Silly

Advantages: The golf extension might aid people's putting and driving
Disadvantages: Quite pointless, not a "need" for the wii

Most Wii owners will undoubtedly love the fact that they can now play their games with a little more interaction. Wii Sports was a marvel when I first got my Wii. I couldn't put it down, especially tennis. I don't, however, see the point with this product. I'll admit it adds to the fun of playing sports games, as well as driving games, but it's more of a 'want' rather than a 'need' when it comes to Wii peripherals. The steering wheel seems to be the more 'usable' device out of the four, and would be worth considering just for that, but definitely not for the other four. The golf extension might aid people's putting and driving (due to watching my other half's brother swing as if playing baseball). It would show more clearly the position at which the Wii remote should be held. This product is definitely fun, but not something I ...
