The Easy Way to Five a Day.

Advantages: Fresh juice whenever you want. Affordable.
Disadvantages: Quite large. Not very easy to clean.

...the TV ad for the JML Juice Booster for £49.99. So off I went to Woolies to purchase one. It is also available from other stores and the JML website. It came with a very colourful recipe book, with a few basic recipes and some information about the health benefits of different juices. The instruction leaflet is just one sheet with a diagram of the parts, basic instructions and safety warnings. First of all I had to take it apart to remove some ...
...pieces apart just to make sure that there was no more packing (it does not mention that there is cardboard over the blade in the instructions). It was very easy to take apart and then reassemble. I started off by juicing some carrots, it is surprising how much juice you can get out of a carrot. Then I added an apple or two. The juice is collected in container, which is provided. The pulp (or most of it) goes into a residue collecter (also provided). ...

Hit the spot for me

Advantages: Easy to use and clean
Disadvantages: Possibly a little pricey

As a general rule, I like to stay in shape, and so to get my daily dosage of fruit is a certain must. However, before i had this juicer i was constantly eating fruit which for me became rather tiresome and also time consuming. Now i have this, i literally wake up ten minutes earlier in the morning, sort my fruit mixes out, pop the parts in the dishwasher. Very easy to clean, although, the mesh filter usually needs to be hand washed , as my dishwasher ...

...this. At one time John Lewis didn’t sell electric citrus presses at all, but eventually produced this one under their own brand. The next stage up is a more commercial thing with levers, and that’s a whole different kettle of physics. Now I expect you’re all feeling a bit hot and bothered with all this talk of squeezing flesh, not to mention scientific conundrums, so can I suggest a glass of fresh orange juice? ...

Where are my juicers?

Advantages: None
Disadvantages: You only get to talk to kids on the phone

I order the Deluxe and Classic juicers Jan 25. My check cleared the bank Feb 9. Today is April 7 and I still don't have my merchandise or my money. I have talked to very inexperienced young people on the phone. There is nothing in place for you to write checks instead of credit cards. The website only finds your order by order number, which you do not get when you write checks. I have provided them with copies of the canceled check and order as it ...

An awkward cow!

...so when I spotted the Breville daisy juicer and smoothie maker reduced to £24 I decided to buy it. What you get for your money. ************************* Inside the box you get a base unit, housing the 450-watt motor and a juice extractor body. Both the motor unit and the juice extractor body are made of strong plastic, coloured black and white to resemble a Frisian cow. The juicer has a clear plastic lid with retaining catch (more about that catch ...
...is a chute at the top of the lid with a plastic pusher to help push fruit or vegetables into the juicer. The smoothie maker part of the machine is the same as most liquidizers and consists of a 1.5 litre capacity plastic jug, plus lid and stopper. The smoothie maker fits onto the base unit. There is a clear instruction booklet that carries on the “I am fun to use theme” with its brightly coloured pages and cartoon Daisy the cow pictures. However ...
