Surely not real oranges.........! Advantages: Tastes great, real oranges Disadvantages: Expensive ...then, along comes something like Tropicana that reminds me that there is a higher quality OJ out there, and that this may well be it! Tropicana is one of those drinks that we usually only have on special occasions, mainly due to the price. Originating from America, I suppose the main thing about this is that it is made using orange juice that isn't from concentrate: it's the actual juice you're getting in the carton. Taste wise, it really does ... ...favourite of this range. Tropicana has a fuller feel to it, with the gloopy nature of the juice making you think you are actually getting the real thing as opposed to it being watered down and flavourings added, which is the case with a lot of other OJs. I suppose the main thing here is that I'm quite happy to actually drink whatever OJ I come across, but every now and then it's really nice to have a top quality OJ, which Tropicana does have. No frills price that doesn't reflect the taste, nice one Tesco Advantages: Very refreshing, as good as other non freshly squeezed juice Disadvantages: None as yet Tesco Value Orange Juice. Yesterday I wrote a review about Tesco Value Apple Juice, I wasn't overly impressed with that one so I wasn't expecting much from the Orange Juice. Sanguinello, a bloody good juice! Pure, orangey goodness in a can! Advantages: Orange juice in a can! Disadvantages: Can be very acidic ...and veg a day, the Del Monte promise (Unsweetened; naturally rich in Vit C; a good source of folic acid; virtually fat free), how to store and instructions for use - just in case you've never drunk from a can before. Attractive, good source of information but rather unoriginal. **Contents The can is filled pretty much to the top with pure orange juice. It is orange (!) in colour and a good consistency - not to watery but not too thick - ... ...Vit C. Princes Orange Juice - Fit for a princess too! Advantages: Delicious taste, recyclable packaging, one of my five a day. Disadvantages: None. I am a regular drinker of squashes and I like nothing more than a nice glass of fruit juice in the morning as it makes a nice change. The carton is a standard fruit juice carton and it has a flip top lid and a foil seal (good to see it's not been tampered with!). It is recyclable as well which is another plus point. The juice has had all of its pulp removed and is very smooth. It's bright orange in colour (as you'd probably expect) and tastes like ... ...to it and I find one small glass to be more than enough for me in the mornings as I normally can't stomach breakfast (yes, I know it's the most important meal of the day!). I find that a carton of this lasts me around 3-4 days and it is best drunk in this time otherwise it starts to taste a little sore and horrible. One 150ml glass of juice is one portion of your daily recommend five a day of fruit & vegetables.
