Before having Baby B I had no idea about what skincare products babies need and we hadn't bought anything in prior to her birth but then once she arrived we soon realised that we couldn't just use the bath bubbles we had but needed something more for her skin. After a bath Baby B's skin seemed very dry. We tried using Johnson's baby oil and tried adding extra infacare in her bath but her arms especially were still so very dry to touch and her skin so rough. We tried an expensive baby lotion from Boots but it seemed to just irritate Baby B's skin so we thought we'd go for the opposite end of the spectrum and go for a cheaper lotion. Review of Simple Baby Soothing Lotion

'Hand & Nail Everyday Care Lotion'

Advantages: great fresh scent, moisturises, nourishes, softens, smoothens hands and strengthens nails
Disadvantages: Larger packs are more expensive but product does the job

I like to carry a lotion or hand moisturiser in my hand bag to use on my hands when I am on the move or at work especially when I wash my hands after using the bathroom or if I notice my hands have gone dry after a few hours of typing away at my keyboard:) I use my hands a lot while working at the PC at the job so I like to have them moisturised and looked after though I suppose I'd do the same if I did not use them a lot at work; when I am home I like to take good care of them e.g. when I had to hand-wash my dishes before I had a dishwasher that allowed me the little plus of having no chipped nails for at least a couple of weeks or more...
