peppercorn to gently lift away surface impurities. Leaves the skin soothed and comfortable. Jurlique Soothing Foaming Cleanser is ideal for rebalancing sensitivity.
Advantages: cleansing but very gentle, no tightness or irritation Disadvantages: lack of scent
There are three Clarins Gentle FoamingCleansers, the dry/sensitive one is the peach coloured tube which says 'with shea butter'. I asked for two samples, the dry/sensitive and the one for normal/combination, after testing both on my dry sensitive skin I ended up buying a full sized tube of the dry/sensitive as the other left my skin feeling tight. Clarins Gentle FoamingCleanser for dry or sensitive skin contains shea butter and Pro-vitamin B5, it has also been formulated to soften hard water which is more gentle for your skin. What I love most about this cleanser is that you only need the tiniest bit for one use, it foams up surprisingly well applied to a wet face and forms a longlasting lather so that you can take your time to really massage it in, then you just rinse off with warm or cold water. This has been great for my dry ...
Advantages: A lot in the bottle Disadvantages: Certainly doesn't hydrate your skin
I bought this toner solely because I'd sampled the Soft and SoothedCleanser that the No7 range also offers in the past and I'd been impressed. I knew of the Soft and SoothedCleanser, I'd tried it before so it seemed to me that it was the ideal time to add the toner to my bathroom range. But no. The one thing I will give this toner is that it does remove all leftover traces of cleanser.
For baffling reasons, Boots have opted to package it in an elegant looking container (fair ...
Advantages: Feels lovely and creamy Disadvantages: Adds an extra step in your routine
I got a sample size of this free when buying other clinique products and have been using it for about 1 week. I don't think that there is any difference to the quality of my skin, but it does feel lovely to use.
You use this before doing steps 1 (soap), 2 (clarifying lotion) and 3 (moisturiser) thus turning the process into 4 steps. You only need to use a very small amount of the product as it foams up when you rub it onto your face and feels really creamy, so a small sample tube will last me for at least one month if not longer. After using the soap as well your face feels really super clean and fresh.
I don't think that I would buy a full size tube of this product as I don't really wear a lot of make up where I think you would get the real benefit of a deep cleaning product. But it is nice to use and I would gladly use more ...
