KAM Gobocolour 250 Lighting Effect

Advantages: Effects, Kill switches, XLR input, Balanced outputs.
Disadvantages: Distortion with effects, Inaccurate EQs.

...Not a bad mixer however the EQs are too sharp and not very accurate, the sound quality is not great and when i use the flanger it distorts the bass heavily, i have to counteract this by lowering the bass when in use. The effects sound alright but they are not as functional as i'd like. What I mean by this is you simply turn them on/off and they run a cycle as opposed to manual effects. The kill switches are very useful however i tend not to use them because most mixers in clubs don't have them and I don't want to come reliant on them. BPM counters are ridiculous, I hate them. Reason 1: An experienced DJ will not use them. Reason 2: Beginners shouldn't pick up bad habits. Reason 3: They are not accurate. The optical Fader is great and will never need replacing! ...these are the best decks around i should know. my boyfriend is a dj and he goes by the name of dj flux . the technics are not on a belt drive like the kam decks . the mechanically run. if you want to buy these new from any djing catalogue the lowest price is £700. this may seem a lot but they are the best. every club in the uk uses these decks so if you want to work in a club then you have to get used to these decks.any serious dj should invest in these decks....
