Advantages: small, good bass, crisp treble, good integration between units, involving sound Disadvantages: none at all.
...I bought my Kefs a year ago now, and to be honest when I got them out of their packaging I expected them to be a lot bigger than they actually were, and I was dissappointed, but only till I got them playing.
Hooked up to my NAD C320 amp these little Kefs sound really, really good for speakers of their price and size (150 quid) and on closer inspection the build of them is excellent, Kef employing the use of chamfered edges on the corners of the cabinet to minimise the distortins introduced by the box shape that they are built into, and boy does it work!
The Kefs use a 13cm long throw mid/bass driver and a soft dome tweeter which integrate well and produce a soundstage that I wouldn't have expected for speakers that cost as little as these. The long throw mid/bass driver comes into it's own when pounding out the incredibly low...

Advantages: Excellent sound quality at all frequencies, well built and good looking Disadvantages: Would be imposing in a small room
...Bought my KEFIQ9s a year ago to replace my ageing Mission bookshelf speakers, and am still loving them. They are driven by my Mission Cyrus 2 Amp and are used to play a wide range of music mostly rock and pop both from CD and records . Having tested the IQ range these were undoubtedly the best from bass through mid range to treble, and for sound quality, performing well at low, as well as higher, volumes. I could have saved £150 and bought the next model down but I knowI would have regretted it. They are handsome and stylish floor standing speakers, all of the KEFIQ range are available in a range of three different veneers to suit your style. Apart from extracting them from the packaging (I had to crawl into the box to get them out), they were easy to set up and have been totaly reliable since purchase. A year on - not a single...

Advantages: Amazing range - Amazing look - Amazing clarity Disadvantages: Only current stock for a few more weeks.
...Ok firstly as a woman I would have initially wanted to have speakers that blend or are hidden but I am converted! With the assistance of the Hyper tweeter on top they give a range from 45htz all the way up to 55000khtz. Very impreesive to look at - a real statement. I have the centre also. They are avail in several colourways and mine are graphite. kef even supplied some of the paint so we could spray our fixed screen surround to match. However they are only current stock for a few more weeks and are then due to be discontinued so I expect the price will drop and we may sell ours. I would be genuinely sad to see them go. The sound is amazing - we use them for both home cinema and music. They give plenty of base are very crispand the build quality is fantastic. The hyper tweeter def makes a difference. There is no distortion you can...
