    Advantages Advantages fairly priced, yummy, restaurants are everywhere

    Disadvantages Disadvantages greasy, not suitable for vegetarians

    Being a bit of a fast food fanatic, coupled with the fact that I’m too lazy to cook if the offer of a takeaway appears, you can often find me visiting my local Kentucky fried Chicken outlet to satisfy the hunger pains of myself and my family. Obviously the only meat a KFC will offer you is chicken, which could cause some problems, especially amongst children who would maybe prefer a burger, but yet can’t manage the huge fillet burgers KFC have to offer.     Advantages Advantages Quick, handy on that occasion, quite like the chicken

    I can't remember the last time we'd been to a KFC. But, last Sunday we'd been out to a lunch party (a relative's birthday) and then onto a Guest House in Penrith, Cumbria for the night. We wanted something to eat but didn't want a full meal -if we'd been at home we might have had a sandwich or scrambled egg on toast. Sunday evening: fair choice of restaurants but not what we really wanted. We knew there was a KFC about 5-10 minutes walk away and having the little walk was probably as important as having something to eat.     Advantages Advantages A much better selection and range of fast food than most similar restaurants.

    Disadvantages Disadvantages Chicken-only, not great for vegetarians, varying quality.

    I once came across a 'Kartoffelnhaus' in Germany, literally a 'potato restaurant', which struck me as being quite strange. It wasn't until I went to a Kentucky Fried Chicken fast food restaurant some weeks later that, though devoting an entire restaurant to a particular type of food does seem odd - the idea is actually quite common. So how well do KFC fare in creating an entire fast food chain along the lines of variations on chicken? The chicken comes in three forms - burger, bites or bucket. The burgers usually contain a chicken fillet - whole meat and far less processed than the Burger King ... more

    If you’re somebody with exotic (and expensive) taste buds then you are probably reading the wrong opinion, because this is the third (and probably final) of my opinions on fast-food, to see how the Colonel’s chicken joints shape up to the more traditional beefy delights of McDonald’s (4 stars) and Burger King (3 stars). Now it might go without saying, but Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) isn’t exactly Szechwan or Peking, it is distinctly Kentucky. What on earth is that meant to mean? I mean it is convenient, fattening and of course tasty. Obvious? Well there you go then ... more

    Exmouth has a good access to quick food. Amongst the many fast food eateries is Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC). As I didn't fancy cooking for a change, I suggested to my kids to take them out for a treat to KFC. I tend to cook a lot myself and we eat pretty healthy - cooked from scratch - so the girls were happy for a permission to pig out. On arrival the obligatory long queue made me regret my decision instantly! I don't think I have ever walked past the Exmouth KFC without seeing a long queue of customers ... Most people will take this as a good sign. Not me, having two hungry small people ... more
