We have found that the Kia warranty is not all Kia would want you to believe. In our experience some items are not covered and some items which were replaced failed very quickly The original failure problem continues with no attempt by Kia to correct the part that caused the original failure. Parts are very expensive and Kia agents are also poor and very happy to replace at high cost non warranty items. Our wiper blades were replaced at every service because this item was not covered under the parts warranty at approximately three times the cost of a car parts retailer. Surprise surprise it stopped when we pointed out that we were not going to pay for another set of windcreen wiper blades. One major component took three weeks to fix , so the car was unavailabe to us, as they constantly sent the wrong part- it was stated that the part was wrongly labelled in the warehouse.
