Kia Pride

Let`s start from technical parts:
It has a 1.3 liter engine with maximum torque of 115 N.m and 69 bhp.
Because of low weight of car this car has a good acceleration.Even in 1750 rpm it has enough torque to drive easily.

Brakes are very good and you won`t be dissapointed at all.

But something that I really don`t like it is : gear ratios
For example the gear ratio of 4th gear is 0.86 so the car has a very slow acceleration in 4th and 5th gear.However this helps fuel consumption and keep it low.

There aren`t any other complaint with technical parts.
about interior I must admit that it is very simple and boring but the interior space is relativley big and the seats are not very bad.

The best thing about this car is the relaibilty and economy which are so usefull for this kind of car(small and cheap)

Since I had 5 comments that said I should add more information I decided to add more info.I hope this is helpful.

They asked aboud the price.I must say that in my country the price of cars is so different from other countries.That`s why I didn`t speak about price.But for informing I say that it is about 7800 $ but the real price in other countries must be very less.

Since I purchased my Pride brand new I have done 37000 kilometers so far and it has a warranty of 30000 kilometers(or 18 months).

I didn`t have serious problem to bring it to the warranty but for those small problems it was useful and I`m satisfied with it.

I said it has a weak chasis and body for disadvantages and the reason is that this car has low weight ( 840 kg ) so the body is very weak(because the technology of it`s body is not very modern )

The maximum speed of this car is about 160 km/h and it`s acceleration from 0 to 100 km/h is 13.7 sec.(official figures)

The handling is somewhat poor.I think mostly because of it`s tires (165/65R/13) and it`s weight distribution.

The standard equipment is rather good concerning it`s price.for instance : electric windows(front),air conditioning,rear heater,electric antena,good stereo,....

But there isn`t any power assisted steering.

About economy and fuel consumption it`s above the average of same cars.I counted the consumption my self and it was about 7 liter per 100 kilometers in city and in freeways this could be less.so it has a good fuel consumption.

In conclusion Kia Pride is good because of it`s:
reliability,economy,engine,equipment,int​erior space

and is not suitable in some cases such as:
chasis and body,handling,gear box,interior design.
