I've had my car now for just over two years, and during that time have had no real problems with it. I think it's great and definitely worth the money.
When I first went to look at the Sedona in the showroom I was a bit disconcerted by the size of it and was very tempted to opt for something smaller instead. However, once driving it, it is very easy to get used to the size. It doesn't feel as big as it is, I think mostly because it's nice and high up and very easy to see everything around you. I had got used to driving it by the time I had got it home from the dealership (about a 15 minute drive) and the size was never really an issue.
As mentioned, I have never had any real problems with it, save for an issue with the clutch cable becoming a bit slack about 6 months ago, which was soon sorted out under the warranty.
There is absolutely loads of space inside, which makes it great for going on holiday with the family. There's plenty of room for a family of 4 or 5 plus luggage without having to resort to a roof rack, although the Sedona does have roof bars as well. I have used it for family holidays and also for transporting furniture. It is very easy to remove the back and middle seats for if you are using it to transport things rather than people - they just clip in and out.
One thing some people have said is that it lacks storage space etc. I personally don't mind this, as it means there is more space inside, which makes it ideal for transporting things. The model I have does not have a centre console, which makes it ideal for transporting things such as long shelves, although I believe that the new models do now have a centre console and additional storage spaces.
The Sedona is not big on gadgets, (one of the reasons I think is so that they can keep the price low). It does however have a DVD player in the back, which comes as standard and is worth its weight in gold when it comes to keeping a four-year-old entertained on an eight hour journey!
The Sedona was £17,000 when I bought it (for a middle of the range model). I'm not sure of the current price, but I do know that it is still considerably cheaper than most vehicles of a similar size and style. I do not believe that this is because it is not as good. Maybe it has a few less extras than some of them, but it is comfortable, practical, easy to drive and full of space - just what I need! All in all I believe it to be very good value.
In addition to this, I have found the customer service at the dealership second to none. They offer a free wash and vac service and free collection and drop off from your home for services, with a loyalty scheme. I bought my car new and was told it would most likely be about two weeks before they could get hold of one of the colour and specification I wanted. I got a phone call two days later to say that they had located one, it was on its way and they would have it ready for me to collect three days after that. The staff are also friendly and helpful.
The only disadvantage as far as I am concerned is the fact that the size of the car makes it difficult to park. You can't just put it in any space in any car park. I have had problems in car parks with small spaces and ones without a lot of manoeuvring room. That said, I don't really see this as being a huge issue - I can always find SOMEWHERE suitable to park it. As far as I'm concerned it is a minor issue.
In short, I love my Kia Sedona. I will drive it until it starts to cost me too much in repairs etc, and then I will most likely buy another one!

Advantages: Cheaper than the average people carrier and has nice touches like the multi position seats and plush upholstery. Disadvantages: The fit and finish is not perfect in places and some peole may worry about Kia being an unknown make.
