Can be noisy if driven hard with some body roll on hard cornering but not altogether an unenjoyable experience (noise becomes less when factory fitted tyres are replaced by a better make). ...usually expect. Unfortunately, Kia didn't make too many of these, so parts can be a bit of an issue (especially body parts as I discovered when a Van hit my front wing). Also, it does tend to have something of a "plastic-y" feel about it - a close friend of mine jokes that if you open the Petrol cap you will see a Coca-Cola logo since its made of recycled cans. This car will not get you street cred, but if you're looking for a decent sized car (as ... ...wrong. Modcons are thin on the ground - electric windows all round which was surprising, power steering and six speakers (which with a replacement stereo sound more than acceptable) but that's it - no remote locking, alarm, aircon etc.
I do find the petrol consumption a little high, but most of my driving is Motorway and I drive a little heavy footed. MASSIVE difference (in a good way) to fuel consumption if you knock 10mph off your speed for the ...

Advantages: Very Cheap. Good specification. Disadvantages: Expensive to service. Poor image
Been an owner of the Shuma II Ice since June 04 and I must say that the previous reviewers problem has not been experienced at all.
For what is essentially a very cheap car it is surprisingly well appointed with Aircon, CD player and all round electric windows as standard.
Comments have been made about the air conditioning affecting the cars performance, this is so (as with any cars aircon) however not to such an extent that it makes the vehicle kangaroo or in any other way unusable. Acceleration is affected with the unit running but not excessively so. In fact the only gripe I have with the air con is that when you switch from screen to any other setting it turns off!

Ciao members have rated this car review on average: helpful Review of Kia Shuma II
Purchased recently a KiaShuma 2 years old, not for those that like a good name but quality and comfort come at a very reasonable price. I love my Kia it cost me £3,800 and when I trade it in it will be for another Kia. The KiaShuma automatic comes in a 1.5 so you save on tax and I get about 35 mpg as the automatic uses more fuel than the manuel. Looks, it looks just like a Mondeo. I don't think it comes in many colours but then i did not buy new. When driving around you probably think you do not see many, you do you just don't realise it. So if you are not worried about the label and want excellant value for money don't hesitate. ...
