or straw on my head!! The UV filters obviously work and it also protected the colour as often the sun makes my generally very dark brown hair go a 'nasty' colour!!
The only thing I would say it wasn't, which I have seen it advertised as on certain websites is a styling spray. It doesn't hold your hair in place, it simply protects it from the ravages of the sun!

I have been using Schwarzkopf POLY (not ply) Style Conditioning Foam Perm for many years on my Mother's and Friend's hair. It has always been easy to use and it's main feature was that both the Perming Lotion and Nutralizer were foam, which prevented the horrible drip drip sequence you get on application with most other perms. Unfortunately they have now changed the format - the perming lotion is still foam but the neutralizer is liquid and drips like mad. I would say that this is only inconvenient to the person having the perm, being the neutralizer it doesn't harm the skin or stain towels, clothes etc., it's just the cold sensation you can get when it drips down your back!!
