(+) Ultra-compact dimensions, fun automatic tools, good performance for the asking price (-) Cluttered menu layout, camera buttons are scarce, specs are almost identical to the Samsung ES15
Advantages: Picture quality, ease of use, cost. Disadvantages: A little slow, using LCD Screen, flimsy lens cap.

Compact Flash card was important as I wanted to increase the cameras capacity, with the 16mb card I can store nearly 60 pictures at high resolution, good enough for A4 reproduction, and well over 120 at low resolution, good enough for net use.
Having recently found a very good stitch programme ... ...thoroughly recommended.
A screw mount is also useful to add zoom, wide angle and macro lens, which I have done and the results justify the cost.
It can take rechargeable batteries, a must when using the LCD screen and when using the extra lens.

Having recently found a very good stitch programme (see http://panorma.com) the results are absolutely stunning and can be thoroughly recommended. It can take rechargeable batteries, a must when using the LCD screen and when using the extra lens. As well as the features mentioned above, the ability to increase/decrease the exposure is extremely useful for bright/dull shots, especially night time, fireworks, illuminated building etc. Have now taken well over 1000 exposures (28/8/00) and although I have an SLR and a Compact, the DC200 is carried everywhere. Can thoroughly recommend.
Advantages: Takes great photos Disadvantages: Big, no zoom, power hungry
I bought the Kodak DC200 quite a while ago, before the real digital revolution which seems to have exploded recently! This camera cost me a devastating £300, and that was about 3 years ago. Nevertheless it still serves its function today. This is a disused product, so you wont be able to find it in the shops, but by no means is it really outdated,
The DC200 takes 4 AA batteries, has 24-bit, millions of colors, weighs 330 g, and has a LCD viewfinder. ... ...Now you know what it has, is it a good camera?
Well, yes and no. My main problem is that it is so large, it is even quite tricky to fit in your pocket! In these modern times it seems that a camera has to do so much more than take photos. This DC200 has no zoom, can not take short clips or do anything technologically outstanding. It does, however take really good photos which can be viewed on the television (this is excellent for when friends and ...

Advantages: Its digital! Good quality Disadvantages: Battery consumption, size
Well, I think its a cracking little (ish) camera. I have not idea whether you can still buy it, but I have used it a lot. I am sure there are better models availble now, but when I got it, it did and still does represent great value for money. This software is good, and I can use it for my scanner too. The auto-enhance feature is impressive. It is quick to upload, easy to view pictures already taken, and easy to bin them. You can use the video feature ... ...has a timer and a range of flashes, a good memory size, especially on low quality (they rate it Good, Better and Best !!!) which is not really very low at all - more than enough detail for my casual use.
However, there is a certain sticky point. The major one is batteries. It eats them - quickly. At the start, I was using one set of 4 AAs to take pictures and another to upload and save - 8 AA batteries for 30 photos is not too good. It only takes ...

Advantages: easy fun and great to use Disadvantages: bulky and heavy.
The KodakDC280 is a 2.0 Megapixel digital zoom camera. I purchased this camera for my fiancee and paid £350 for it 4yrs ago now..
I thought doing this review now might prove useful to anyone who comes across this camera second hand somewhere, as they have now been discontinued.
This camera is quite easy to use. The top of the camera has five buttons, the shutter and the zoom switch are the most prominent and then there are three smaller buttons that allow you to change flash settings, turn on the timer and set the focus level.
The battery life isn't bad generally but u have to use rechargeable batterys or it wont work.
does not conect to comp as no software or leads or manuyal. ...

Advantages: Ease of use, reliability Disadvantages: Bulky, a bit outdated now
The KodakDC280 is a 2.0 Megapixel digital zoom camera. I purchased this camera on behalf of the company I work for and paid £350 for it about 3 years ago.
At the time I purchased this camera I thought that it was pretty good value for money considering the ease of use and features it had. At that time 2.0 Megapixels was a pretty good picture quality, just shows how times move on with 8 Megapixel and better cameras now on the market!
This camera has seen a great deal of service in the hands of the many staff members who have used it over the past 3 years, and has stood up to the abuse thrown at it! The camera is still in daily use here although it is a bit battle scarred now. Some of the rubber grip on the front of the camera has fallen off and the rubber cover for the serial port has broken off through overuse. Aside from this it ...
