Fairly basic model. Comes with fairly useful set of software but the Compact Flash card supplied is not very large - this can be a problem if shooting away from access to a p.c. or notebook where one can download images for subsequent manipulation and production. Limited choice of facilities but the beauty is that the camera functions very well with the settings straight out of the box. It might be considered the digital version of an Instamatic. Runs on rechargeable batteries - supplied - or use and dump. Life on either is quite restricted so spare set of rechargeables comes high on list of extras needed after dealing with the limited Compact Flash capability. Very comprehensive instruction manual. The camera is now dated so should be available at a good price.
