The main aspect of this camera is it's user friendlieness. It came complete with a set of rechargable batteries and charger - a nice feature. This would be a perfect camera for a person just starting into digital photography, who wants a camera that looks, feels, and acts like a familiar 35 mm point and shoot and who has elementary knowledge and sense of computers. You can't go wrong with this camera. It's rugged, takes great pictures, and I'm 100% happy with my purchase. And it's KODAK, so you know customer support isn't going to be a problem. To sum up the Kodak DC240 is a very user-friendly camera that gets wonderful pictures. For a point and shoot camera you can't do better, in my opinion.

As I'm on the look out for a reasonably price digital camera as a 'starter' because I've never used one before, I was glad I came across your review. However, I'd have liked a bit more information on the camera e.g. how much did you pay for it?!!
