The KP Choc Dips come in side a carton, like that of a yogurt. The cartons are also probably slightly smaller than a regular Ski Yogurt carton, both diameter wise and height wise.

So, is the KP 'Choc Dips' a complete waste 50 pence or so? Well, no! Not if you want the carton afterwards, this could easily be incorporated in a project to create a ‘Tracey Island’ play set, courtesy of Blue Peter.
These also come in 2 other flavours. Orange and White chocolate - oh and there is also caramel if I remember correctly. So there are 3 other flavours. (Which I think taste better).

The original chocolate variety comes in a white carton as stated, and is primarily decorated in a blue design around the side. A splodge of chocolate forming the shape of a man holding a stick of biscuit also decorates the carton. The text 'Choc Dips’ in yellow and red font adds some more colour to a otherwise dull looking design. The package describes the product as "biscuit sticks with chocolate flavour dip".
The lid peels off like that of a yogurt also. I found mine quite difficult to get off, but I got in, in the end.
You will see chocolate smothered on the underside of the foil lid as you peel it off, and you may want to lick it off. You can smell a faint chocolaty smell but it really isn't anything special at all.
Now, what's this...!? Inside you will see that the carton is split in to 2 compartments down the middle. The other half is chocolate. One half a sections holding roughly 10 stick like biscuits, less than an inch wide. Hum, that means we should have about a compartment of chocolate that reaches to the bottom of the carton then! Right!? Wrong!
Once you select your biscuit and place it in to the chocolate, you may receive an unexpected bump. The biscuit has banged in to the bottom of the chocolate compartments base. Really, you don't get much chocolate at all. There are two tactics to try and make the most of the chocolate you are given:
1. I have found on the rare occasions I have these that I either end up using the biscuits at a minimal level so I have enough for all the biscuits. By using this technique I usually find that I end up with a lot of chocolate left, prompting me to use my finger to scoop up the chocolate and suck it from my finger.
2. Tactic number 2 is to scoop a fair amount on each biscuit stick - and hope you have enough for each. You may end up with just the biscuit and nothing to dunk in!
-Ok Enough Ben! Tell me about the taste!-
Well, assuming you have a fair amount of chocolate on your biscuit stick, you will taste a rather plain flavoured chocolate hit your taste buds, and it won't give much stimulation to them. It does melt nicely on the tongue though, but doesn't really have much of a flavour to savour. The biscuit is also quite dry and it also, has very little flavour to it.
Can I also suggest that you eat this once the chocolate has melted slightly, it does make it just that little nicer. Otherwise you will be poking your biscuit sticks in to a hard texture less chocolate substance, and may have trouble actually getting any on the stick.
So what is the overall rating? Not enough chocolate and too much biscuit. Although to be fair I do think the product is aimed at children, and not really teenagers on the verge of adulthood. The chocolate definitely isn't really the best tasting, and neither is the biscuit. However, for a child this may be a good little 'treat'. The small amount of chocolate may keep them occupied, and hopefully the biscuit parts will, although I can easily see them getting bored of them as soon as the chocolate has been consumed.

...writing a review on the KP Choc Dips - White chocolate....
Well at the minute i am devouring one of the little cartons. They are so tasty - i love white chocolate.
What they look like?
A small hand held carton just like the one in the picture, however, the white chocolate one has a red background and a white blob of chocolate whereas the brown chocolate one has a blue background with brown blob of chocolate.
What are they ?
It is a product from ... ...snacks and a small white chocolate dip.
The biscuit is in the shape of small thin fingers, and the dip is a soft creamy white chocolate.hmmmm
I am a big white chocolate fan, so i just love these, i have ate the brown chocolate ones as well, but i definatly prefer the white chocolate, cause im the 1% of females who doesn't like brown chocolate much. My friends think im weird :)

...once when I came across KP Choc Dips Original. I paid £0.79 for 3 packs of 32g which I think is a good deal and it means that I have enough to share with my husband. They can be found in the biscuit aisle of most Tesco stores but I'm sure they are also available in other major supermarkets.

I noticed this product on the shelf in my local shop and I remembered having them as a child, so I just had to buy one.
I paid my 44p for a yogurt pot shaped container cotaining "biscuit sticks with chocolate flavour dip". The pot is slightly smaller than your average yoghurt pot and has a similar type foil lid. The choice in my local shop is the regular chocolate flavour and a white chocolate version. I also remember seeing chocolate orange flaour, ... ...peanut butter flavour.
Opening the pot is a little tricky but once you have peeled the foil off the top you are presented with around 15 biscuits that look very much like bread sticks but thinner and shorter. There is a small compartment on the inside of the pot containing the dip.
You get an amount of dip that is equivalent to about two teaspoons full at a guess. Not a lot really, so you have to be careful not to use too much of it on each stick.

Like the KP logo, the main writing on the pot is yellow, with a splat of chocolate behind it.
The base of the pot states the best before date. I bought my Choc Dip today (8th October 2006) and the best before date is 7th April 2007, so this product has quite a long shelf life.
As you peel off the lid you get a lovely chocolate smell, and see that some of the dip is stuck on the underside of the lid (again, like a yogurt). Advantages: A nice little change Disadvantages: Not filling not good value
Once upon a time in a land far far away there was a wicked chocolate stealing fairy, she took everyone's favourite chocolate biscuits a stole the chocolate from them leaving them bare and bland.
Her favourite trick was to steal the chocolate from chocolate fingers and leave just the long plain looking digit floating in chocolate limbo land. People were getting truly pi****** fed up with this since it was getting harder and harder to get biscuits ... ...was a lazy madam so she certainly could not be bothered to put any effort into getting her chocolate or indeed putting chocolate on any thing she fancied. Knowing this about the fairy a smart young gent whose fetish was chocolate fingers decided to give people a sporting chance to once again taste the delights of the chocolate finger.
How did he do this I here you ask, well he took all the biscuits from which the chocolate had been stolen and place ...

**HEY WAYNE, THIS ISN'T A MUSIC REVIEW**
I'm aware of that, thank you. Aside from music and comedy writing I also like to pig out big time. But with my advancing years doing battle with the 10 miles a week that I run, I'm finding that I either have to:
-cut down on the fatty foods
or
-increase my running mileage
and there's no way I'm running any more than I already do, so it's healthy eating time.
**WHAT'S THIS THEN?**
Remember KPChocDips? Well, they're exactly the same except the "dippers" are smaller, the choc is actually a low fat cheese and chive dip and the box is horizontally rectangular instead of vertically so. And they're made by Weightwatchers from Heinz rather than KP. And the packaging is white and not blue and brown.
**WHAT DO THE MANUFACTURERS SAY?**
The packaging describes the product thus ...
Advantages: Melt in the mouth; crisp; nice packaging Disadvantages: A tad boring. Buy some Burbons and dip them in quality chocolate
' which were a bit like those KPChocDips Biscuit sticks except the pot contained a white and milk chocolate dip with flipper shaped chocolate biscuits which tasted like the top half (or bottom) or a Bourbon Cream. I really liked these but I haven't seen them for years. I've currenly seen Penguin Bake Bars on the shelves as well as Penguin Wafer abrs (can't really see the point of this. They are changing the concept of a Penguin bar now). I remember I had something at school which was like a little pot and you got balls of penguin biscuits, caramel and milk and white chocolate chunks. I think they were called 'Penguin Chukka's' but I really can't remember- It was something like that.
My overall opinion of this product is positive. It's a nice textured bar which can be replicated by supermarkets and thus, bought at a cheaper price for near ...
