I thought this was pretty much all i needed to know for my GCSE english, it went though everything in great detail, and in a way that way easy to understand. Aside from the corny jokes it was very serious about it topics and went through each step by step and helped me understand. i know you may be thinking with cgp what are those annoying pictures doing, but some of them infact enhaced the abilty of the book to get the message across and into my head, in essance they are trying to target most types of learnere which are audio and visual, the audio learners will learn from reading the text were as the visual ones will learn from the pictures, however if your the type off person who can't sit down and go through a book then i'd say avoid any revision books as it will be a waste of toime and money, try to go for something more interactive ...
