...Barney's Move 'n' Groove Dance mat is a great way for toddlers to burn off some of that endless energy they seem to have. (suggested age is from 18 months). Barney is an soft coated inflatable toy which fits onto a revolving star at the top of a dance mat. As you press different pictures on the mat, Barney talks to you and spins round "dancing". There are 4 different settings you can select, 3 of which play different music and the forth which has an interactive type game. Barney asks you to find different coloured footprints on the dance mat (or to press a keyboard key or to find the picture of one of Barney's friends) and when you jump on the right pictue he congraulates you and gives you another challenge to try. There is a keyboard along the bottom section of the dance mat so you can play along or make up your own tunes... Read review

Barney dancemat has barneys voice and he tells you where to put your feet in the games that he plays he may ask something like can you find the yellow footprint you then have to tap your foot on that colour footprint barney will reply with your looking great if you get the answer right. With the six different tunes that are available you can just dance to the beat on the mat or you can make your own music by tapping your feet on the symbols on the mat. This toy is really perfect for the kids who are very active as instead of the little devils running round and getting under your feet they waste away all their energy on this and they stay in one place which is great when busy with those houshold chores. ...mat we have brought now and I do think they are good value for what you get and the amount of fun kids do have playing with them. Well until they hit the age of 4 that is then they have more fun emptying the pens over the floor. They are good for younger kids to play with and to use their imaginations whist learning and having fun. Which lets face it what kids is going to play with a toy that is not fun ? This mat though they have made them slightly smaller compared to the other mats that you can buy as before the mats where 90 cm X 90 cm and this only being 80 cm X 80 cm. Not sure if it’s just this mat or not that they have made this way. Though the slightly other annoying thing with this one is that with the other two their was a large space to draw and with this one there is not. I would how ever recommend this to anyone...
