Kalms sleep is sold in bottled of 50 tablets. The box is
deep purple in colour with white writing on the front and a crescent moon and
five stars surrounding it. The bottle is glass and therefore suitable for kerbside recycling schemes. The glass container has a white plastic lid and this can be fully recycled via Kerbside collection schemes. The Box is made from cardboard and although your kerbside collection does not include cardboard unless stated you can recycle it at your local amenity site as I do by stacking up you cardboard and taking it down every two weeks to the amenity site.
This to me makes this products packing environmentally friendly as it is fully recyclable.

My opinion on Kalms Sleep.

I am personally a sufferer of Sleep Apnoea and this on top of my clinical ad circumstantial depression causes me a great deal of problems with Sleeplessness. Due to the Sleep Apnoea it makes it very hard for my G.P. to prescribe me Prescription sleeping tablets other than on a one week every three months basis when my stress levels are high.
I was in the pharmacy buying some Kalms when I noticed they sold the Kalms Sleep. On my next visit to the G.P. I chatted this over with her and she has told me that again I can take this medication as it is herbal although it may not work but even then I am only able to take it for one month and then stop and return to see her. I went and purchased some and tried them and I have to confess they did absolutely nothing to help me sleep. Now on saying that it does not mean they will not help you, but I still STRONGLY RECOMMEND that YOU SEEK MEDICAL ADVICE as I did before taking them. I may have not been able to get along with them because I am used to being prescribed strong sleeping tablets.
I can only imagine that like any herbal remedy it may only work for some and have no effect on another.
I can personally tell you though that from my experiences of lack of sleep that is really does have a huge impact on
my life. My depression has become uncontrollable and seems not to be improving, however they may improve when they manage to control my Sleep Apnoea. Just because you snore does not mean you are a sufferer of Sleep Apnoea and it is shown that it is usually the Closest person to you who usually picks up there is some sort of problem rather than you yourself, for example a Husband or Partner.
Sleep Apnoea is a disorder that causes you to stop breathing for ten seconds or longer when you are asleep. Another common symptom for Sleep Apnoea is extremely loud snoring, this is how my husband detected it in me. I snored terrible and stopped breathing in my sleep so much so that he quite frequently shock me to wake me and start me breathing again. It is not possible to suffocate from Sleep Apnoea because your brain goes into autopilot if you like and wakes you forcing you to start breathing again. You may not even be aware that you are awake and go immediately to sleep but thee has been no cases to show that anyone has ever died from Sleep Apnoea's symptom of stopping breathing in there sleep.

SNORE EXTREMELEY LOUD AND MAY STOP BREATHING FOR A FEW SECONDS ONCE OR TWICE IN YOUR SLEEP DOES NOT MEAN YOU SUFFER FROM SLEEP APNOEA, I AM MERELY INFORMING YOU OF WHAT IT IS AND WHAT PROBLEMS IT CAUSES

MY REVIEW AND I PERSONALLY SUFFER WITH IT.*****
Therefore, in summary in my person opinion due to my personal experiences I have found no help from the Herbal Remedy of Kalms Sleep. I would like to point out as well that Stress is one of the most common reasons for lack of sleep. It forms a vicious circle in my opinion and this is why:-
You are stressed over a problem in your life, you then lose sleep due to stress and this in turn causes you to be tired and irritable the next day causing you even more stress, and so on as so forth. If you can break the cycle yourself by controlling the stress (if it a stress that is controllable that is) then you could find yourself sleeping very soundly anyway.
