The majority of the 360s launch day games have been little or at all no trouble on deciding whether to buy them or not.....PROJECT GOTHAM and CALL OF DUTY are both great, EAs are predictable and shinier, the same goes for TONY HAWKS an KONG.But Kameo has given me and im sure others a headache with which to choose.....

Theres plenty to applaud here , which include some great visuals, splendid and inventive characters and with neat gameplay touches, the lead character might lack charm but the game makes up for that...

The plot is or should be important in these kind of adventure or RPG games, put it next to something like Final Fantasy which has deeper theme tunes about mans destruction of the land , love, honour, sacrifice and so on...which all add to the emotional involvement i find lacking here....this plot is essentially a jealous sister who wants power she believes is hers and by any means she gets the help of a giant Troll King called Thorn who really is a cliche of games..nasty and mean and so forth..and it doesnt tend to go deeper than that.

Although the plot and narrative were a tad dissapointing in an adventure game, it certainly isnt all the game offers..

VISUALL SPLENDOR!!!
.The graphics in this game are a sight to behold, and that includes HIGH-DEF and STANDARD...this is the kinda fantasy world you expect in PIXAR movies...Technically its the best looking next-gen game by a mile..with CONDEMNED pulling its tail..The world itself is a riot of rich colours , astounding textures and stunning particle effects,.its a living breathing organic enviroment with a ton of stuff going on in the foreground and background..i was just sitting and wathing for a while...you have just got to admire the scenery..and at least its tried to be a next generation game in terms of graphics.

GRAPHICS PHAW!! HOWS DOES IT PLAY...
..In the main it plays very nicely and its a good take on the adventure/RPG light genre. Over the course of the game the lead character harnesses the power of ten elemental warriors, each of which have a specific set of attacks and attributes all of which are aquired by tracking down and defeating shadow demons that have elementals sprite in there body, or as rewards for rescuing your family.....once she has liberated the sprite she absorbs them into her own body...then transforms into a warrior...changing into the warrior couldnt be easier, all you do is assign one to the face buttons..kameo herslf occupies the A button..then once pressed she transforms..simple..the warriors themselves are lovely and all of which are upgradeable and can be used in tandom together...

The game has a co-op mode also, which is great, it allows you to play the scenarios but not the whole thing with a mate and available in split screen or system link....theres also a puzzle section to the game which is where your warriors come into there own.

AUDIO QUALITIE!!!
..The sound in the game is great ,it really does add to the gameplay, its tense ,calm, moving all at the right time and when needed.

Conclusion...Its fun- and a great technical achievement and a indication of what the 360 is capable of doing..but the adventure itself is lacking something which could of made it great.
