When the time comes for the use of the wipes, it is very easy for children to take wipes out. Pop open the lid, and as long as mum or dad have pulled the first wipe up, you can just grab a wipe and use.

The wipes come out one by one, which is great as I can remember James getting baby wipes – usually ending up with 3 or 4 stuck together.

The wipes themselves are slightly ... more

I can do it too...........

Advantages: Flushable and easy for children to use.
Disadvantages: expensive

Kandoo toilet wipes are in an attractive purple and green plastic box with a lovely 'feely' soft button to pop the lid up with. This, in fact proved to be so fascinating to my small son that he fiddled with the box so much that the spring mechanism broke on the box. Therefore I had to spend money on a new box for the refills to go in. Actually, I have been fiddling with the lid myself to write this review and it is so much fun to play with, that ...
...frog footprints, along with a kandoo sample and the money off voucher. My son was so enthralled with the sticker chart that I decided that purchasing the complete box of wipes was the way forward to boost his enthusiasm for toilet training. (It had been a very long process so far.) The main advantage to the wipes, in my opinion, is that they are flushable. Toddler poo tends to be of the sticky variety so you do not want to have bits of dry toilet ...

Advantages: Gives your bum a fresh wipe.
Disadvantages: If you don't watch your child they tend to use to much.

...the door to promote the Kandoo Toilet Wipes. It came in a large envelope with a little book for the children. Which they could colour and teach them how to use the toilet ,and making sure they wiped and flushed. It even got down to the details of washing their hands. And what also was great was there were four sheets of stickers. that they put into the book if they done a good job of going to the tiolet. Now the voucher's that we got ,were to get ...
...shop around. Now the Kandoo refill box is a deep purple colour with a green pop up lid that opens and closes very easy. To open you press the button on the top of the container that is a soft plastic, green also in colour but a darker shade to the lid. And there you are presented with a round little booklet that has a green frog washing his hands. You then unfold this piece of paper and it has all froggies friends( boy and girl frogs ahhhhhh). Then ...

...a book to fill with Kandoo hand print stickers, also supplied free which were to be stuck on when your child masters different stages of going to the toilet on their own such as wiping themselves and washing and drying their hands by themselves. It also came with a Well Done Certificate when they are staying dry and a little keep out sign to hang on the door handle of the bathroom. Great ideas and I have to give top marks for these hand outs as they ...

...coupons in the mail for Kandoo wipes. The cost of these wipes are around £2.80 to £3.00 in most stores (Boots, Tesco, Sainsburys) and I had received two £1 vouchers so I thought I would give them a go at a bargain price (we all like a bargain don't we?). Kandoo just cost me $200

Advantages: Kids love them and they make learning to wipe yourself very easy
Disadvantages: Plumbing hates them.

Kandoo wipes may claim to be "flushable", but first hand experience just showed me my pipes can't handle them. I just paid a plumber $200 to remove a wad of them out of my main sewer line to the house. When the plumber pulled the snake out of the sewer line it looked like a long q-tip with a Kandoo tip. No more Kandoo in this house unless we buy a diaper genie. The kids will be disappointed to see them go. They've gotten used to them over the last ...

Kandoo independence!

Advantages: Great encouragement to be independent, easy to use
Disadvantages: price, and could block the loo

say so on their website. But again, this could be over a very long time, and the word you want to see is 'dispersible', which is the magic word you want to reassure you that your drain won't get blocked... If you fancy doing some simple home science with the kids, get three jars of water, and put a piece of loo paper in the first, a Kandoo wipe in the second, and an ordinary baby wipe (which you wouldn't normally put down the loo) in the third, and see over a few days if the wipes break up in the water like the paper does. If you try this, please leave a comment to say how you get on! If the Kandoo wipe doesn't break up in the water, you might want to calculate how many have gone down the loo and where they might be sitting.... ...

Review of Pampers KanDoo Toilet Wipes

Pampers sensitive wipes

Advantages: Soft and strong
Disadvantages: Not wet enough for me.

I was recently sent a pack of Pampers Sensitive Baby wipes for testing from one of my survey sites and as these are available to buy in the shops I thought I would do a review on them. My usual brand is Johnsons and have always got on very well with them but if something is free I will definately use them. The Pampers Range Pampers do a range of products for babies and toddlers including nappies and training pants, baby wipes and Kandoo toilet paper for children. Their nappy range has 3 different types, Baby dry for newborn babies, Active Fit for mobile babies and Easy up Pull up pants for potty training. All available in numerous sizes. Three types of baby wipes, Naturals with calming lavender scent, Baby Fresh with lotion and Sensitive with Chamomile and Aloe. The Pampers range is produced by Proctor and Gamble ...

Review of Pampers Sensitive Wipes

'Mummy, I kandoo it!'

Advantages: easy to use
Disadvantages: none

Toilet training is a big step for any child and obviously some take to it quicker than others. Most people start off encouraging their little ones to use a potty before moving on to the big toilet! Once my daughter was trained using the potty she was very happy to use this although for some reason she was quite reluctant to then move on to using the toilet, especially at home. I had seen Kandoo wipes in quite a number of her small friends' houses and she was always very happy to use the toilet in those places, so I thought it would be worth buying some to use at home and to make a special fuss of putting them in the toilet! Also, we kept saying that big girls use the toilet rather than the potty, so I made a point of saying that these were big girls' wipes as oppose to the 'baby' wipes I was using on her little sister. One ...
