...This review is the skin kit for normal/oily
I came across Dermalogica through a friend and seen this brand sold in salons, promoting facials.
My skin started to break out with loads of spots just after Christmas and my current products by clinique was not working for me.
My friend said Dermalogica is good even though she hasn’t used it. I seen products raved in magazine. So I thought give it a chance. I also did research I was about to buy Kanebo skincare products which has an exact same system to Dermalogica, with the milkysoap, and sponge chief. I do not know who copied who. Kanebo would have cost me too much if full size was £50 a bottle.
I brought the skin kit, as I had no idea where to start and what product goes together with what it’s a bit confusing when you research about it.
I highly recommend you see the skin therapist...

A luxurious yet mild soap especially formulated for dry skin Offers gentle exfoliation without dehydrating skin Effectively whisks away remains of make up, dirt & impurities Makes skin perfectly clean, clear & translucent 497316703428
Advantages: concentrated and good results Disadvantages: difficult to find in stores - better to buy online
...The other review here sounds like a paid advertisement... do you work for QVC? In any case, I wanted to say that at the risk of sounding like another "ad" it actually is a great product. I use a combination of MilkySoap, Sensai Lotion II and Sensai Emulsion II. I have normal skin.
Do note that the other reviewer who said that you apply the lotion after emulsion is wrong!! The demonsrations I have received and also the instructions in the packets clearly state that the Kanebo "veil of moisture" is achieved in two steps: 1 - Lotion, and then step 2: Emulsion.
I also recenlty invested in the more expensive Sensai Advanced Recovery Concentrate. Quite lot more money, but I have noticed the results! I did also once try the IB range (inner balance) and although cheaper, it really wasn't worth it. Better to stick with the Sensai range...

Advantages: very moisturing soap and has a lovely, comforting warm fragrance Disadvantages: none
...I regularly use Lush Hot Milk? bubble bar slice to help me sleep and Milky Bar matches the fragrance perfectly. I bought this first of all because I'd come up in a mystery rash and wanted something very mild to wash with.
The frangrance is warm, soothing and *surprise* a bit milky. In a newborn puppy kind of way. Lush describe it as the smell of hot milk about to boil over & I'd agree with that. Its a very sweet, homely kind of fragrance. Its made with Soya milk, so its suitable for Vegans which is nice, but meat-eaters can also use it ;-)
So, packaging - minimal. I buy from the Lush shops, not the website so I have a peice of soap cut to my required size. This is then wrapped in paper with a sticker to say which soap it is, the ingredients, weight & price. (100 g for £1.95)
The soap itself is just a milky white colour...

I have annoying skin, most soaps either leave it feeling oily or dry. One week after running out of my Neutrogena visibly clear body wash and lacking the funds to replace it. I went in search for a cheap soap that was suitable for my requirements. I... more
this was my first ever book read about making soap - something which I now do as a business :-) It certainly inspired me to take it further, and I now have a shelf full of related books and a garage full of soap and soap making equipment!
