Advantages: Brilliant, deep down cleaning Disadvantages: the price
To begin with I was very fortunate as this was a prize awarded to my husband from a raffle. There is no way I would pay £350.00 for this cleaner, only due to the fact I couldn't afford it, if I was pretty well off and I knew what I know about it now then yes, it would definitely be on the top of my want list.
The unit itself is very compact, and weighs in at 12.1 kg, so pretty lightweight, because of it's small size it also makes it very easy to store. It comes in the usual karcher black and yellow, which is not very eyecatching but it is only a carpet cleaner I suppose. The unit has 7.5 metres of cable so can stretch a long way, and is particularly useful for the stairs. It comes with a floor nozzle and a hand nozzle which are both stored onboard the unit, and the hose itself is 2.5m long which again means not much stooping ...

Hoovering carpets may remove dust and hair from the pile but after years of abuse I have finally found a way of getting mine to look as good as new without having to get on my hands and knees with a bucket of soapy water. I bought a steam cleaner, to be precise, I paid £129.99 for the Karcher SC1122 Steam Cleaner from Betterware after their catalogue popped through my door at the beginning of summer.
A little bit of a doubting Thomas I was uneasy with the claims that the steam cleaner ideal for all of my home cleaning requirements but went with it as my hall and stairs carpets had turned from a pale beige into a deep brown that was frankly embarassing and unsightly.
The cleaner is very light and hold up to 1.2 litres of water ready to be converted into steam. When filled to the top it takes 9 minutes to heat up to the optimum ...

I think everyone should have one, they are so multi- purpose, I mainly use mine for cleaning my flags when it gets to summer time and we are having people round for barbeques they end up looking just like new and it makes your garden a whole lot brighter.
We also use this product on our pond - you know how it is if you have had one or have one now, you leave it after summer and you cant see any fish or anything at all because you left it that long and it's usually a hard days and nights work. Just get your Karcher out there, blast the pond and Ta Da! A nice clean pond with visable fish.
It's also tough on bricks and the outside of houses I think that a day with the Karcher you will fall in love with it and your mould free bricks, ponds, and flags. I would definately reccomend this product ...
