Karcher Karcher Karcher, where art thou Karcher!

Every home should have one, if there is one thing you buy this year, make it a Karcher pressure washer! The leading brand (in my personal opinion and many others) that offers performance, value for money, ease of use and most of all, reliability.

The K4.99M (Commonly found as K4.99M Deluxe) is perfect for DIY and covers an array of tasks, from cleaning decking, patio, facia, the car, motorbikes and many many more.

It houses a 1900w auto start/stop motor within its yellow belly, producing a nice 130bar work presssure at a 400ltr water flow output per hour making light work of cleaning up stains suck as oil and stubborn grime like moss. This particular unit comes with built-in wheels which adds to its ease of mobility.

The unit (Deluxe model) comes complete with 6m of hose, variable pressure lance with the option to switch to low pressure mode for detergent suction and application (suction hose built-in, simply dip into a tub of detergent, i would recommend the Karcher branded detergent which is readily available, I found this the most efficient) dirtblaster (one mode attachment which optimises maximum pressure for hard stains), and rotary wash brush (spinning head due to water flow through attachment, perfect for windows and the car).

Now you can pick this unit up complete for around the £140.00 marker, give or take a pound or two, and having used this model myself I would say it is worth it, the external suction hose and lack of in-built detergent tank is a bit of a negative but it caused me no major fuss.
