Our one-year old cat is very playful and still likes toys a lot, so we often buy new toys for her. I picked this one up for 2 pounds at the pet store and it was an instant hit! This Karlie Feather Waggler With Ball isn't very expensive, quite simple, but very good! I think the people that designed it know exactly how cats like to play.
As said, the toy is simple, it's basically just a wand with a ball and feathers to it. But to the cat it must look like a real prey :) If there ever were pink rodents...
The wand is just the right size, and the long rope ensures the cat doesnt accidentally attack your hand instead of the toy ( this has happened before with toys without wands or ropes and ouch those claws can be very sharp). So a good thing this gives the cat owner a bit of protection
There's probably many ways to use it. You can bounce it, drag it, hide it, wiggle it. Sometimes i just drag circles with it on the floor, the cat gets into attack position and then lashes out. She also likes it when we hide, and just show a peak of the feathers ( for example at the corner of the couch) .She then hides behind before jumping and attacking.
