Kelloggs Rice Krispies Squares

I don't know why but in the summer months I just seem to prefer to eat more sweet things. I lately have been preferring to eat things that are not made of chocolate hence the fact I am writing about Kellogg's Rice Krispies Squares. They are considered a cereal bar, I guess, altough for some reason I don't tend to consider it to be one. I only first tried one of these at a friend's house last year and wasn't completely confident of what it would really taste like, but after i had that first bite I instantly fell in love with them and am always buying them now! These Rice Krispies Squares - as the name suggests - are often associated as being a cereal bar, but in my opinion are more of a snack or treat and are a bit too sweet to have for breakfast. Being a lazy teenager, like most, I can never get up in the morning for school, As I don’t get up quick enough I don’t have time for a proper bowl of cereal. I first found these when on holiday and they were giving them away as a trial and since then I became addicted although nowadays I don't have them as much! They are rice crispies which have been covered in melted marshmallow in order to stick them together in a rectangular shape. When you bite into them you'll find that the rice crispies aren't as crunchy as they usually are as there is a lot of the sticky marshmallow covering them. I am not a teenager but absolutely love these, especially the caramel variant. I started on the plain ones as a low-fat snack but then discovered the caramel ones and was willing to forgo some healthiness for the sake of taste! These are just as satisfying as a chocolate bar, as they do have chocolate drops on them, but without the guilt factor because they are mostly rice/air. The marshmallow and chocolate squares are just over 100 calories each, and the caramel one is about 150 calories.
