What is it?
It's a very simple trading game. There are 8 sets of commodities and each set has 8 cards that have a picture of the commodity. There are also two other cards, a goody and a baddy. You need to use only as many sets as there are players (best played with at least 4 players). They are shuffled along with the two other cards and dealt out. Some players will get more cards than others but it doesn't matter.
Then someone shouts go and all hell breaks loose...
How do you win?
The idea is to trade cards with the other players in order to get 7 out of the 8 of the same comodity. Cards can be traded individually, in pairs, in threes etc, the only rule is if you trade ...

Advantages: Some good charatcers and funny moments Disadvantages: Dated, predictable and daft
Jed Clampett is trying to catch the families tea when he shoots at a rabbit and manages to find oil in his swamp. The local oil company comes and makes him an offer to sell the oil which sees this family of Hillbillies becoming Billionaires! As the family are now so wealthy they decide to move to Beverly Hills where Jed is determined to find a wife so his daughter can have a mother figure back in her life.
The family arrive in style in their old banger of a car with Granny stripped in her rocking chair on top of the car. They are totally amazed when they arrive at their new mansion and as in fact mistaken as intruders! Their bank manager has now become their new best friend and his assistant is given to job of helping Jed find a wife.
The story in mainly centred around this plot line but there are a few side stories ...
Advantages: Entertaining subject, engagingly written, very amusing in parts. Disadvantages: Loses interest towards the end.
