I first started drinking Kenco Rappor in late April 2002. I found a coupon for it in a magazine and since it was my turn to do the shopping, I thought that I'd impress my Nescafé minded mother.

First impressions when looking at the product are, 'Err... that looks very expensive', when infact it isn't. It is very competitively priced and was actually cheaper than most others. Depending on where you go, it will cost you roughly £2.00 for 100g, which is pretty standard.

I thought that because of the price, it wasn't going to taste good, but it did. It smells like other coffees I have tried but I would say that it definitely seems more concentrated and stronger. I found it a lot stronger than other brands and also a lot tastier than every coffee manufacturers main rival, Nescafé.

If Gold Blend is anything to judge this coffee by, then Rappor is a lot better in my opinion.

It had a good strong smell and was a great coffee to drink in the morning because the smell helped me wake up and also made me smile, maybe I'm just addicted to Caffeine!

I liked the taste because unlike other coffees I have tried, its taste actually resembles its smell. I like this coffee a lot and apart from the very expensive stuff at Costa, which I can only afford to drink on special occassions, it is my favourite. It is great with cream and also fantastic when you just want to watch TV and can't be bothered doing anything resembling hard-work.

I don't know how most people like coffee but personally it just isn't the same without milk and sugar, but if you're in for the hard un-sweetened hit of pure Rappor then go ahead.

It seems a great coffee which is under-advertised and also under-estimated by a lot of people, especially people who religously drink Nescafé.

Try something different and taste a real coffee!

a really feel good coffee
