...Absolutely stunning. There are lots of cool devices on this laptop, even the AC adapter is stunning, the apple logo on the back of the screen lights up and it's just beautiful..! When the battery is being recharged it blinks slowly as if it were breathing. It's a new baby in the house! Enough about the cool looks.. I have been using the iMac (the original Bondi Blue) until I got this, and the difference is just indescribable. Even things like my Sony Memory Stick reader works at least 5 times faster with the Powerbook, and I didn't even need to install the drive for the memory stick reader, the Powerbook just knows what to do with it, and it does it well! Advantages: Looks good, extremely clever and useful concept, extension adaptor
Disadvantages: expensive

...The design of this is of very high quality, and it's an extremely clever concept - instead of tripping over your laptop power cable and damaging yourself, the cable or the laptop, the magnetic connection used on this adaptor means the cable will just pop out with no harm done. (NB this only works on newer mac laptops). However, design comes at a cost and this is not cheap - up to twice cost of another laptop manufacturer's adaptor, so make sure you don't loose it. It comes with an extension cable which lets you extend it to 2m, which is very useful, and it does run a little on the warm side. It's completely silent but makes a very quiet whistling sound when you remove it from a socket...... Read review

Because most if not all laptops can’t handle the 240 volts that comes shooting out of the plug sockets in our homes they come with power adapters, the Apple Mac is no exception and has two leads. One begins at the computer and ends at an extension cable type power adapter, the other attaches to the adapter and ends at the plug. No problem I hear you say, well that’s were you would be wrong. Because the wire raps around the power adapter it becomes very weak and also the socket which plugs into the back of the laptop becomes very hot, this, in my case lead to a panicking rush to the plug when the back of my laptop started sparking (oh yes I s*** myself). Obviously I could no longer use my power lead, however I thought this would be ok I had a battery after all, (but how would I charge up my battery?). I had a problem. I visited E-Bay looking...
