THE GARAGE?
At 4703mm long and 1826mm wide, unless you have a particularly small one, yes it should indeed fit inside your garage.
WHICH SPECIFIC MODEL?
At £27,830 (aren?t these modern day ?Cortinas? getting pricy?) and packing 211bhp, the Audi A4 2.0TFSi S Line, that I am reviewing here, is towards the top of a bewilderingly comprehensive range of models. It is the most powerful and expensive four cylinder front wheel drive A4 saloon.
The A4 range starts at £20,485 for the 118bhp 1.8TFSi and tops out at a whopping £33,700 for the 237bhp 3.0 TDi Quattro (four wheel drive) Executive S Line. With each engine configuration Audi offer a quattro (four wheel drive) variant ? indeed I will be offering an argument for not offering certain models, the 2.0TFSi included, with only front wheel drive.
IN WHAT CAPACITY AM I REVIEWING THIS CAR?

Advantages: Great driving, reliable car Disadvantages: Ford service department
I bought my Ford Focus in June 2006, second hand from Ford with 38,000 miles on the clock. The model I own is a 2.0 ESP facelift, with the revised headlights which include the indicator, revised bumpers with bump strips & revised metal flush skirts.
Now, in August 2007 the car is on the brink of hitting 70,000 miles and it literally hasn't missed a beat. The only parts that I have had to replace that are none wear and tear are the thermorstat housing seal (Ford however will try and charge you to replace the whole housing, where infact it is invariably just the rubber seal which perishes), and a n/s/f ball joint due to excessive play when being tested for an MOT, a grand total of about £50 non-expected maintenance. Not bad at all for 30,000 miles of motoring in just over a year. And as a furthur point of note, the Michelin Pilot ...

Advantages: Cheap to run, reliable, spacious, good handling Disadvantages: Build could be better as trim falls off
I bought my 1998 2.0 GLX in March 2000 from Polar York with 11000 miles on the clock for £8000. Since then it has done 94000 miles and has never broken down, though the ABS system went at 98000 miles. I still drove quite safely for 3 weeks without it as the brakes are still excellent . A second hand unit was bought to fix it, costing £300 including fitting. No other major parts have failed and it has sailed through its MOT every time with minimal preparation, just brakes and pipes needing attention. Front tyres wear a bit quickly but rear ones last forever.
The car is a fine, unflashy car to drive. It handles well and is quite quick enough, especially from 30-70 where it leaves BMW 520s for dead so it overtakes safely and it cruises well. Once you hit 3500 rpm, it goes like sugar off a stick. I am amazed by comments about poor fuel ...
