Kensington GlareMaster Security - display screen filter - 12" - 15"

Advantages: Well it does it's job, sort of
Disadvantages: It kinda doesn't, too

...Due to a massive amount of glare cast on to my desk area at work, I've had to have one of these screen filters fitted to reduce that glare as it was beginning to give a pretty large amount of eye strain. The Kensington screen filters are available to fit most monitor sizes, and, to be fair, they are inconspicuous, and after a short while they are an almost un-noticed part of the furniture. The usefullness of these filters is bound to vary depending on the position and the conditions your monitor is in, in my case these are not great. Once I'd fitted the screen filter there was an immediate difference - the glare HAD gone. However, I couldn't see much of the screen at all, it had gone so dark that even turning the screen brightness up slightly made not a jot of difference! Advantages: Fits the screen perfectly in size and very easy to clean
Disadvantages: Does take a lot of cleaning to keep in perfect condition

...This is a very effective screen protector. It fits the monitor perfectly and is easy to clean. I would state that it does need cleaned at least 2 times a week but only needs wiped over with a dry cloth. I can assure that if you do this the Kensington SlimScreen 19-21 will be kept in mint condition. I would strongly urge anyone interested in buying a product like this to buy this one. I have had great success witht this product and am completely satisfied with the job it has done for my monitor. You are of course very welcome to carry on looking for similiar products and i would be most grateful if anyone would let me know on any better products. Thankyou... Read review
