The Kensington Shield TFT Privacy Filter is designed for display privacy. I had this for my old 15" TFT monitor and it worked pretty well. I bought it at the time for the anti-glare feature and easy use as I didn't want to glue or use any type of Velcro pads on my monitor. So this was ideal for those reasons. This screen filter is part of Kensington's ergonomic product range. The filter is ideal for privacy protection as it reduces viewing angle to only 75 degrees, so other people around you can't see your screen 37.5 degrees both sides, left and right. This is also a visual filter making it more comfortable for you to look at your screen for long hours at a time. The built in anti-glare feature reduces glare by up to a huge 99%. Screen Enhancing Filter!

Advantages: Shows Contrast, Colour and Photographs In Amazing Graphics!
Disadvantages: Look Quite Bulky When On Screen

This screen filter has put a stop to the cleaning on my computer screen forever! No more dirty fingermarks on your screen and best of all no dusting is ever needed again, due to this covers anti-static material. Colours and patterns on the screen stand out a mile with this filter and best of all, it makes the contrast of colours come alive on the screen. I mainly use my computer as a source to view my digital photographs on and sometimes it is hard to tell if the picture i have taken is varying in contrast enough etc, however this screen makes the viewing of these pictures a more pleasurable in which my photographs seem to jump out of the screen at you! Overall i felt that this screen filter was well worth the money, the only bad thing that i found with it was the fact that it makes your slim-line screen look bulky and much thicker ...

Tinted glasses for your computer!

Other screens are available for monitors of different sizes. This screen used to be on my old traditional monitor, but we have since bought a flat screen monitor (again to reduce eye strain) but it fits that too. The screen is advertised on the packaging as being an 'Easy to install universal frame'. However, the first time I put this screen on it was far from easy. It's amazing how fiddley these little plastic pieces were... they are 'L' shaped corner pieces, the flat edge resting on the top of the monitor and the downward piece having several 'holes' that you insert the screen into, depending on how low you want ...
