Kent University, Canterbury

One of the first things which struck me about the university of Kent was how friendly everyone was. Leaving everything you know and moving to a uni campus may not seem like the most easy thing to do but afer the first week I had already established friendships which lasted throughout the first and second years and hopefully for many more to come. The advantages of this uni are a) it is easy to get to Europe b) there are therefore many Europeans at the uni which makes life more exciting c)there are excellent programmes which allow students to study abroad d)there is an all too tempting nightclub on campus e)a short bus ride takes you to the historical city of Canterbury. There are few disadvantages to Kent uni however exam rules have changed forcing some students to have to take exams in a row which was previously unacceptable, though there is a campaign to change this. This has caused tension within the uni.
