1) Difficult to assemble, since the "threads" on the blade assembly and the jug do not line up well. 2) Even more difficult to disassemble, once you have put the blade part on really tight. 3) Blending a smoothie: if a banana is cut up in very tiny pieces, and the yoghurt is chunk-free (such as vanilla), AND if you use plenty of fruit juice--it will blend the mixture adequately. This blender was not really cheap but it is terrible. When you switch it on it vibrates across the surface so you have to hold it. It then unclicks the jug and therefore stops, so you have to hold it gently and go with the flow! If you more than 1/3 fill it, it shoots the liquid out of any gaps at the top which seem many when you have hot chocolate spraying round your kitchen and on you. Hi I am madhu. I've bought this blender 4 months ago. I being an Inidan, was looking for blender that is suitable for Indian blending and grinding purposes. my main needs are for grinding soaked pulses and for grinding dry powders. This blender is suitable for only making dry powders but when I use it for grinding soaked pulses , I'm not getting a smooth paste , also it gets heated quickly and I have to run it some 4 to 5 runs. so in my opinion this blender is not suitbale for Indian grinding needs. also the small jar has a small gap at its top where all the stuff gets struck , making it ... more
