I was very surprised with how easy this blender is to use, the base attaches to the jug very easily and the power wont start if the jug isnt attached properly so no risk of the jug flying ... ...the front and a pulse mode to make things even smoother. The jug is 1.5 litres which is an ideal size for what we need and is made of plastic, the blades are stainless steel so are brilliant for blending fruit and according to the box they are supposed to be tough enough to mix ice but i havent had any need to try this.
