Advantages: Easy to use and clean Disadvantages: Limited size, no pulse blend
...The Kenwood blender provides the basic blending features: 2 speed, reasonable size goblet and easy to clean. I use it to blend fruit to make a juice drink. It seems to blend quite well, but nothing too fine. It doesnt always start too well, usually needing a prod into the top with a wooden spoon handle to push the food down. Once under way, it is effective. It could do with a pulse mode instead of turning the dial on and off, but that feature comes on more expensive models. The goblet remains on top of the drive just by holding it down, there is no catch mechanism. Once used, it is easy to take apart and clean and then reassemble. Stowing the cable is easy too. The goblet holds about a litre which, when it has mashed food in, doesnt leave a lot for juice. So, for a large amount it could be tedious, blending a little at a time....

This Silver and glass Kenwood caught my eye on the shelf out of a list of 30 products on show, it was exactly what I was looking for, a small easy to fit on my already crowded kitchen worktop, easy to use and importantly just the right price ( it was on offer at £35.99 from £59.99).
As soon as I got it home, I put it straight to use, it really is very easy, even for a man like me (well I'm no Gordon Ramsey), just plug it in, put the contents to be blended in (in this case a tin of Whiskas Tuna) and away you go.
Now I've never used one...

Recently I decided it was time to replace my blender. The old one was looking pretty sad with a cracked jug and I figured it was only a matter of time before there was a messy accident! As it happened it was the new one that gave me this experience, but... more
I was going to buy another cheaper unbranded one but instead I got this one for the same price due to out of stock of the unbranded ones. What a bargain.
