Advantages: Great smell & good bottle design Disadvantages: Doesn't fit in the box with spray adaptor attached
I received a 50ml bottle of CK Be on my birthday from my girlfriend. I opened the little black box to reveal the smooth textured bottle from which I poured a few drops onto my hand. My nose was greeted by an aroma of fruity flowers with a pleasant woody smell, which would appeal to both a man or woman. The smell is not so strong it will leave you gasping for fresh air, nor will it leave you smelling nothing but fresh air - The strength is just above average and will pleasure your nostrils for a good 5 hours or so.
I am very conscientious when it comes to expensive aftershave. I hate to see any expensive fragrance being wasted, and I knew one day I would foolishly tilt the bottle to an extreme obtuse angle and waste half of it, so I chose to fit the spray adaptor which was contained within the box. Ever since 1994 when CK One was first launched I have always been a great lover of Calvin Klein fragrance. Never too overpowering always very sensual and seductively flattering.
This year for my Christmas my hubby gave me CK IN2U, I'd been wanting this one for a while and was over the moon when I opened it.
The Packaging
Presented in an eye-catching gold box with bold yellow writing, this one immediately catches my eye on the shelf. The bottle is a typical bottle shape with a white, plastic cover over the top three quarters, a gold spray top and a simple white lid. The perfume itself is golden in colour.
The Fragrance
As the name would suggest with it's text style title this fragrance is inspired by the younger generation with notes of pink grapefruit, bergamot, redcurrant leaves, sugared orchid, white cactus ...
Advantages: Pleasant fragrance for boys AND girls Disadvantages: Probably suits men better
I SMELL........wait, don't leave. When I say I smell, I don't mean as in Pepe L'Peu, well not usually.
So, how DO I smell? - By inhaling through my nostrils and engaging my olfactory sensors, just like everybody else. (the old ones are the best)
I'll start again.
I smell.....nice. I've just had a shower, shampoo, shave and a sh....let's not go there. I'm all spruced up and washed up (or is that washed out), groomed within an inch of my life, and smelling like.....well, like I've been liberally doused with Calvin Klein. Which isn't altogether surprising, as I have been splashing it about a bit.
CK BE is a fragrance for men and women and as I definitely qualify in one of those categories, I think I'm entitled to wear some.
So why am I all beautified and fragrant? - because, Mrs P is treating me to bit of nosh this evening ...
