Kenwood CM651 - coffee maker

Advantages: great tasting coffee at a drinkable temperature
Disadvantages: looks quirky (but maybe you like that)

Our last coffee machine (Tefal) had been part of our family for nine years - until he sadly died due to being put too close to a rather hot microwave and melted. We spent a very long time searching for a replacement product and finally decided upon the Kenwood CM651. While scouring the market we discovered many different coffee machines which were adorned with various spangaly extras such as timers and "aroma switches" but to be honest - all we wanted was a decent cup of COFFEE! THe Kenwood CM651 has a fairly basic design (which is exactly what we wanted - less to go wrong) Water is poured into the back reservoir which is easily accessable. We use the glass jug for this and discovered that it pours really cleanly without any dribbles! The Kenwoods capacity is 13 cups which is rather generous amount for such a petite design ...

Advantages: easy to use, good capacity, reliable and easy to clean
Disadvantages: care is needed when washing jug not to damage lid

The jug is made of glass so be careful when cleaning not to hit it against anything. The coffee Jug has a capacity of 2.5 ltrs. Removable filter basket which is really handy for cleaning purposes. 9 - 15 cups of coffee can be achieved depending on cup size The coffee is kept piping hot by the automatic themostat controlled plate. Anti drip valve This product was produced in 2002 I have had a kenwood coffee maker for 2 years and have never Regretted it. I have recommended it to friends who have also been pleased with there purchase. I can always rely on it when entertaining, its also great to have a hot pot of coffee ready after a meal or during the morning.
