I initially bought this smoothie maker for my husband on father's day - but i find it is me who is using it the most!
I purchased my kenwood smoothie maker from asda and paid 29.99 - which i thought was good value for money. On the morning of father's day we tried the new smoothie maker - putting together the maker was easy and could be done by anyone. We had put in the fruit for the first drink and pressed the smooth button - we were all surprised at the noise the machine made - and the slight burning smell was a concern. We later found that the stirer that comes with it needs to be used to push the fruit down - if this is not done it can apparently burn the motor out!
So what is included ?The machine - with three four buttons incl pulse, smooth, stop and mix.
A jug and blade to put the fruit in.
a lid - to keep it all in.
a stirer - to push the fruit down
and an instruction booklet with some recipe ideas.
Is it really as good as everyone says??
Yes - so far i have found this maker does everything you want from a smoothie machine. So it is well worth spending your money on!!!
