I initially bought this smoothie maker for my husband on father's day - but i find it is me who is using it the most!
I purchased my kenwood smoothie maker from asda and paid 29.99 - which i thought was good value for money.
On the morning of father's day we tried the new smoothie maker - putting together the maker was easy and could be done by anyone. We had put in the fruit for the first drink and pressed the smooth button - we were all surprised at the noise the machine made - and the slight burning smell was a concern. We later found that the stirer that comes with it needs to be used to push the fruit down - if this is not done it can apparently burn the motor out!
So what is included ?
The machine - with three four buttons incl pulse, smooth, stop and mix. A jug and blade to put the fruit in. a lid - to keep it all in. a stirer - to push the fruit down and an instruction booklet with some recipe ideas.
Cleaning and storing: This is what puts most people of buying these sort of machines! Cleaning this machine is easy as the jug and stirer is really all that needs to be done. The jug lifts of easily and washes well! Storing: Storing this maker is probably one of the only downsides as it is large - so takes up a lot of space. The jug can lift off to be stored separately.
Is it really as good as everyone says?? Yes - so far i have found this maker does everything you want from a smoothie machine. So it is well worth spending your money on!!!
