Advantages: Size and definition Disadvantages: Fiddly buttons
I just purchased my first Digital Photo Frame and after much research chose the Sony DPF D80, WOW a terrific product. The 8" size makes a real difference versus the more standard 7" versions. The definition and resolution is superb 800x600 and the 4:3 sizing is a major plus. The many available settings are easy to use and I would recommend changing a number of the factory settings to optimise your own displays. I particularly liked the zoom function which provides 4x magnification its terrific! Build quality is superb although I find the tiny on/off switch a little troublesome, it needs a little reaction time to work, so press once and wait a few seconds. The auto power on/off is a very useful and green "feature". I feel the extra cost of this product is well justified. ...

Advantages: the best components, programmable data store, random, repeat etc Disadvantages: bigger than a standard CD player (that is all I could think of)
that covers any costs of replacing damaged parts.
All in all, this is a unit for lazy people with too many discs and a taste for the opulent. Expensive by comparison to a single disc player, but that is where comparisons end. This is a different type of machine altogether. And the technology has been around for a few years now so I know that I am not beta testing Kenwood's products.
And as a final point if I should forget where I put my new Coldplay CD, I just have to look at the screen, for this machine has CD text reading capabilities so once I have entered a disc title it stores the data to the disc number. Number 27 Coldplay - Paracutes. Easy as pie.
Feel like hearing 200 discs back to back without getting out of your seat / bed / bath, get a DPFJ3030. You will love it. And it has an optical output so you can record discs down ...

Advantages: Sleek, stylish, non-offensive, overall a product which I really like. Disadvantages: I cant think of any-it is a fairly expensive luxuary, but no more than others of the same standard
