Process up your bits with a Kenwood

Advantages: Small, easy to store and good for those small jobs in the kitchen
Disadvantages: Will struggle with larger items

I tend to spend quite some time in the kitchen these days but I don?t really mind as I do like cooking, I suppose that stems back to when I was ?cheffing? for a living. Anyway, back when I was ?cheffing? you had to do most things by hand, cooking wise that is, so it was a little more work back then. These days life in the kitchen is so much easier, what with all the mod-cons that are on the market to give chefs a little helping hand. One of them items, which I am the owner of and have been for some time, is the kenwood Multi Pro food processor/liquidiser. ** Brief specs? * White food processor. * Separate liquidizer. * 1.2 litre mixer capacity * 2.1 litre bowl capacity * 750 watt power * 2 speed and ?pulse? button * Safety interlock to prevent accidental start without lid. * Detachable blades for easy cleaning ...

Kenwood Kettle comes to stay and stay and stay

Advantages: An efficient attractive kettle
Disadvantages: Hubby's fingers are a little big for under the handle

Kenwood SJM270 Kettle I'll start off by saying that this is likely to be a pretty boring review!! It's a kettle for goodness sake - and don't we just take them for granted!! The kettle is probably my least used kitchen appliance now. My family are predominantly coffee drinkers (a cup of tea has not passed my lips for 38 years!!) and since I purchased my indispensable Senseo Coffee Machine it is VERY rare that I make a cup of instant coffee. But, of course, I do need a kettle for other things apart from tea and coffee and when my old one went to the big kettle skip in the sky I needed to go and look for a new one. My previous kettle had been brushed stainless steel, and to be honest I wasn't that keen, I found that it took a fair bit of cleaning to keep it looking decent. It is twelve months now since ...

A toast to Kenwood

Advantages: Good price, nice toast, looks good
Disadvantages: None yet

Debenhams. We had £100 worth as a wedding present and still had £25 left - the fact that it is our third wedding anniversary on 16th April is immaterial! We're not shopaholics then! I thought that it would be expensive at Debenhams but figured that it was worth a look; however I was in for a nice surprise. They had a Kenwood TTP103 four slice toaster in white for £20! So know you know why we needed a toaster, how and why we chose it and where we got it from I'm guessing you'd like to know a bit about it! Features It has a crumb tray into which will drop the crumbs from the toast. It slides out of the base of the toaster so that it can be emptied - I always put the resulting crumbs out for the birds. I also usually turn the toaster upside down and give it a bit of a shake to get the crumbs out that don't fall into the crumb tray ...
