Kenwood Steams Ahead
Review of Kenwood KB9188 by  newby2

Advantages: works very well
Disadvantages: none

...Kenwood KB9188 Steam Iron... I have always had really cheap irons until I decided that the time spent ironing was twice as long with a cheap iron. I paid out only a fraction more than I would usually when this Kenwood iron was on special at £10 from Argos. Its original price was around £15 but considering I usually only had Tesco Value Irons for less than a fiver this one cost the price of a couple of irons would usually do. I would have to say however that it was a total brilliant purchase on my behalf. The price paid was a bargain and I can't believe that I have been using cheap irons all this time. The Kenwood iron is heavy in weight and high in watts (2000). This means that it is able to sail through the ironing at a super quick time, I am not having to push hard on the clothing or go over it several times with just one swoop... Read review

Kenwood Major - A major success
Review of Kenwood KM 020 Titanium Major by  marktatton44

Advantages: Large bowl, pulse capability, bowl cover
Disadvantages: Bowl cover is not very strong.

...Q: Kenwood Major or Kenwood Chef? A: It depends on your needs! Advantages of the Major over the Chef: - Larger bowl makes large mixing possible, less messy and easier (6.7L over 4.6L) - Flexible beater included Although that may seem like a very small difference for such a difference in price, for me, it is well worth it. When baking or mixing something for large quantities the Major gives me the capacity that the Chef would struggle with. As with the Chef, the Kenwood Major is a very high quality appliance. With the flexibility of being able to attach the most amazing attachments, from sausage makers to food processors the Major flexes its dynamism. This is a very robust machine that in my experience does not scratch easily. If you are toying up whether to get a Kenwood over another brand I would suggest the Kenwood for a number... Read review

A Toast to Kenwood!
Review of Kenwood TT920 by  sarab20

Advantages: Simple controls, easy enough to use, toasts 4 slices in one go!
Disadvantages: Struggles on home baked bread, body doesn't always stay cool in use, availability

...Kenwood; there's a name I haven't seen for a long time. I used to have a Hi fi unit with the name of Kenwood and although it wasn't the best it took me a few years to realise that the company who make kitchen appliances and Hi Fi's are not the same people! Doh! Well its harmless enough mistake to make given that the look of each brand emblem is virtually the same. These days however I have moved onto better things and replaced my old Hi Fi with an all in one unit, half the size and twice the amount of features. The same goes with my toaster. Having had a few cheapie brand names over the years such as Hinari, Bush and JMB from then, Index catalogue stores (bought over by Argos) and another similar toaster from Poundstretcher, one day my cheapie toaster no longer toasted. The problem was the fact that through 4 toasters throughout... Read review
