Kenwood FP 180

...i decided to buy the Kenwood FP180.

I have had mine for about 4 months now and i have been very impressed with it. I bought it for around about £30 and i think that for what comes with it, it is good value.
You may think why not buy just a basic blender but I have friends that have bought them just for when their babies are on puree then they have chucked them in a cupboard never to be used again. I have used mine a lot since ...
...when my baby is finally on normal food as you can do loads of other stuff with it.

My only complaint about it like all blenders it can be quite noisy.

The instructions of how to use everything on it and what goes where although a bit flimsy are helpful with picture diagrammes, it tells you how to attach and use each part, e.g. cutting plate can be used on carrots, potatoes, cabbage etc and it tells you how to clean it ... more

I was looking for a blender so i could puree food when i started to wean my baby, i did buy a hand blender at first but it kept overheating, it was very messy and time comsuming so i decided to buy a different one After looking at loads of different types (its suprising how many just to mush your food up) i decided to buy the Kenwood FP180.

There are also 8 recipes.

On one side you have blender and on the other you have a liquidiser, you can take the liquidiser jug off and put a safety cap on it if you don't use it that often, you do have to keep the food processor bowl and lid on if you want to use the liquidiser due to the safety feature. You have 3 setings for it, pulse, permanently on or off .There is a safety feature on it that if you have not fitted the lid properly it doesn't work.

This food processor comes with the following attachments.

Liquidiser, can hold up to 1 litre or 1 3/4 pints.

Knife Blade with maxi blend canopy, to improve cutting.

Shredding plate and slicing plate, to feed food though the tube with, also comes with plate carrier and spacer.

Whisk, to use with egg whites or cream only

Spatula.
