Advantages Advantages Easy to change attachments, simple to fit, works very well and efficiently.

Disadvantages Disadvantages Short flex may not be suitable for all.

A food processor is something that I have been wanting for a very long time now, possibly two years or more. I have a juicer, I have a hand blender, a mixer and numerous other kitchen gadgets but I wanted something powerful that was going to be effective and simple to switch between gadgets if I was working on a meal with lots of different ingredients or even batch cooking for my freezer. Kenwood is a name that I know as offering reliable brands (generally) and when I spotted this food processor down from £129.99 to just £44.99 in my local Sainsburys several months back I just couldn't turn it ... more

Advantages Advantages Lots of very useful attachments, mainly easy to clean, can also make smoothies and milkshakes.

Disadvantages Disadvantages The shredding discs can be difficult to clean.

On the many occasions I had spent hours chopping and mixing in the kitchen, I had longed for a food processor to do some of the hard work for me. Don't get me wrong, I love cooking, but I must be an impatient cook as I want to get on with the actual cooking- it's all the lengthy preparation I don't enjoy. So I was absolutely thrilled when my parents gave me this for my Birthday! This was eighteen months ago, and I now wouldn't be without it. I use it on average at least four or five times a week, and it is still working fabulously. One feature of this food processor that I particularly like is ... more

Disadvantages Disadvantages No storage container for all the tools

I had wanted a food processor for a while with vague ideas of not having to chop vegetables anymore and it taking away that tedious part of the cooking process. So when my hours at work increased my husband decided to "treat" me to one to make life a bit easier and as this was on a very good offer at the time (they retail at £129.99 but can often be found on offer and he got it for £45 plus cashback which was a fab deal so it’s worth shopping around) it was this one that we decided on. As most of my kitchen knowledge comes from my mum and she has never had one of these I didn’t really know ... more

I have had my kenwood FP580 for a couple of months now and I love it. I only have a small kitchen and it sits in a very small corner - which means it is accessible at all times. It comes with many accessories including a dough tool, 3 cutting discs, whisk and blender. The 3 cutting discs store away safely in a disc holder. The main base has inerchangeable bowls and the blender. These are very easy to swap, although initially are quite stiff to remove but this soon loosens up. The 2 sizes of 'feeding' tubes in the lid of the main bowl, enables you to feed individual or handfuls of fruit/veg ... more
